The 2017 Kelly’s Toyota Finn Harps Schools Programme 3rd & 4th Year Schools Tournament final took place at Finn Valley, Stranorlar Friday 11th May. Boys & Girls from Primary Schools attended qualifying games at Bonagee, Letterkenny, St. Catherines, Killybegs & Finn Valley Centre, Stranorlar in the past few weeks and they battled out at the final.
48 Teams participated in the qualifying games totalling 480 children. The skills & talent that these young boys & girls showed was a credit to their schools and their teachers. The feedback from the schools was extraordinary for the programme. A huge thank you must go to the Kelly’s Toyota Finn Harps Schools Programme coaches, Paddy Gallagher, Dessie Mc Glinchey,  Chantelle Grant, Pascal Millen, Eddie Dzane, John Campbell , Gerry Ebbs &  Keith Jones. Not only do these coaches provide outstanding coaching to the schools throughout the county they are extremely well respected & talented mentors to the children who would not have an opportunity normally to participate in such a highly recognisable soccer coaching programmes and competitions.
Finn Harps players Eddie Dsane and Pascal Millien called out to meet the kids during the play offs and the children were in their element to receive such support from the players.
